Description Tarantino Properties is seeking a savvy professional Assistant Property Manager for the community, Avesta Icon. Candidate must be a proven and solid Assistant Property Manager with experience in the San Antonio market. Candidates must have 4+ years of experience on a stabilized property. Good communication skills, marketing experience, customer service skills and computer skills are required. Working knowledge of Onsite is also a big plus! The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for accounting for the flow of money and ensuring timely collection of rent as well as other receivables. The Assistant Property Manager will also process “move-ins”, “move-outs”, meet management goals and objectives, and achieve the standards required for Property Managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Minimum of 2–3 years of multifamily property management experience (Assistant Manager or Leasing experience required) Experience with lease administration, resident relations, and delinquency management Experience with rent collections, posting payments, and deposit accounting Knowledge of delinquency management, notices, and eviction processes Ability to reconcile rent rolls, deposits, and resident ledgers Familiarity with monthly reporting, audits, and compliance documentation Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the community Execute and manage lease files to ensure accuracy and compliance Process move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and transfers Maintain accurate resident files in accordance with company policy and Fair Housing laws Handle resident concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally Support occupancy, leasing, and retention initiatives Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to ensure timely unit turns
