Responsibilities

We’re seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding position, blending front-line tenant interaction with behind-the-scenes property management support. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience across all aspects of commercial property management while contributing directly to the success of our portfolio.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and working with people – and is keen to develop their career in property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, handling enquiries in person, by phone, and by email
  • Support senior property managers with day-to-day tenant and property matters
  • Maintain accurate records, from tenant details to property compliance
  • Assist with monitoring rent payments and arrears, coordinating follow-ups as required
  • Manage compliance tracking (e.g. gas safety, fire risk assessments, EPCs)
  • Handle utility administration and liaise with councils on business rates or council tax
  • Communicate with contractors, councils, and service providers to keep properties running smoothly
  • Take ownership of varied administrative tasks to support the wider team
