Description

Coventry and Warwickshire Neurodevelopmental Service
Band 5 Assistant Psychologist Neurodevelopmental Service for CWPT
Are you looking to be part of a new friendly, expanding and dynamic multi-disciplinary team -working with individuals with Neurodevelopmental Disorders including Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Conditions, ADHD, Sensory processing difficulties and Dyspraxia?
The service is an extension of the established and successful Children and Young Peoples Neurodevelopmental Service, recently rated by the CQC overall as ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ for being caring.
The neurodevelopmental service uses a multidisciplinary assessment model, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary working and drive to provide a thorough assessment with focus on post-diagnostic support and intervention.
Due to recent funding we are looking for an Assistant Psychologist with experience in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. The role will support the external providers in completing assessment and diagnostic process by undertaking tasks such as clinical triage and working with and providing support and advice to our families awaiting an assessment. It may also include the development of on line resources to support our service users.
The successful applicant will help contribute towards clinically supporting the team in working with our external providers. You will have the support and supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.
For more information on this role please see the attached support information. This will give you a better overview of the job role and requirements.
At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.
We put ‘people at our heart’; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.
