Undertake psychological assessments using interview techniques, psychometric assessments, functional analyses and structured interview/questionnaires. Analyse data and use computer facilities to graphical present results from psychological assessments Contribute to and prepare clinical reports outlining the progress of work with service users and obtain a Clinical Psychologists counter signature on such reports. Undertake individual therapeutic interventionsupport the Clinical Psychologist in preparing material for psychological assessments, interventions and service delivery. Engage in joint clinical work with colleagues within Liberty care as delegated by a Clinical Psychologist.
Prepare teaching materials for the provision of training to other professional staff and agencies. Assist in the provision of training in the use of psychological approaches to other professional staff and agencies. Participate in clinically relevant research, service evaluation and audit projects. Provide Liberty care with information regarding clinically effective interventions by competently undertaking literature reviews, using the internet and library facilitates.
Responsible for administrative tasks relating to case-work including keeping case notes and preparing written reports in line with the Policies and Procedures of the BPS and other guidance. Carry out such administrative tasks that may be required by the Clinical Psychologist. Manage diary to ensure competent time management and completion of clinical work, research, professional development and attendance at meetings
