DESCRIPTION

Priory Hospital Llanarth is looking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to join the team. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, located in the rural area of Usk, Monmouthshire, offers secure services for adult males and females. We provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for people with mental health conditions who present with a variety of behaviours that challenge.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As an Assistant Psychologist you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

You will also:

• Work alongside Clinical, Forensic, and Counselling Psychologists on assessment and intervention
• Develop skills across low secure, medium secure, and rehabilitation services
• Support male and female clients with forensic histories presenting mental health and personality difficulties
• Deliver training sessions and facilitate reflective practice
• Participate in audits, research, and consultancy projects
