We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Public Affairs Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities The Public Affairs Office (PAO) is seeking a proactive and self-motivated candidate to assist our marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs or his/her nominee(s) in the PAO, the successful candidate will mainly be responsible for: Contributing to the developing of brand/marketing strategies, and executing full-funnel marketing initiatives to enhance visibility, brand awareness and student acquisition; Creating organic contents (posts, visuals/photos, videos) and managing the accounts for HKMU’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Xiaohongshu, to support branding and student acquisition; Planning and implementing data-driven digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, such as the university website, the New Centre website, paid search, paid social, display and content engagement; Collaborating with agencies and partners to execute promotional initiatives and ensure KPIs are met; Timely tracking and analysing marketing performance, including website traffic and campaign effectiveness, competitor activities and preparing regular reports with actionable recommendations for future plans; Organising offline marketing and branding initiatives, including events and info days; Producing corporate, event and programme promotional videos with video production houses; Coordinating market research on University’s brand image and positioning; Exploring and identifying new channels and media to effectively reach target audience; and Performing other tasks as assigned by the Director of Public Affairs or his/her nominee(s). Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: A recognised degree, preferably in marketing, business, journalism, communications, public relations or related disciplines; At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience with a strong focus on social media management and content development (particularly Xiaohongshu), performance/digital marketing, analytics, and lead generation; Proven success in executing omni-channel strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media management and growth strategies, advertising campaigns and delivering measurable results; Expertise in tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and other Martech solutions; Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; Strong PR sense; Mature, detail-oriented, self-motivated, with a proactive, can-do spirit; A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; Well-organised with strong multi-tasking and time management skills; Capable of managing projects independently while working under pressure and tight deadlines; and Flexible and willing to work outside office hours when necessary.
