Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Purchaser to support our procurement team. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating with suppliers, while ensuring timely and accurate support to our internal departments including production, engineering, and sales. This role offers a strong foundation for candidates aspiring to grow into a Purchasing Executive or Buyer role in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of suppliers for materials and components.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up with vendors.
  • Liaise with internal departments (production, engineering, sales) to consolidate purchasing needs.
  • Monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and vendor information.
  • Support in price comparisons, quotation requests, and supplier performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies.
