EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A good understanding of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and OHSAS18001:2007 standards.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Root cause analysis trained.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ground in auditing or reporting would be beneficial (including internal audits).
  • Formal Health & Safety certification / Training (desired).
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced QHSE Assistant Manager to support the QHSE function, with key responsibilities including:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring all health, safety and environmental matters are dealt with in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Supporting the QHSE Manager in the maintenance of the integrated business system, processes and procedures.
  • Assisting with customer/supplier enquiries/complaints and relaying any relevant information to the appropriate member of staff.
  • Keeping the company training matrix up to date and managing the online training system.
  • Assisting with the COSHH assessments.
  • Updating waste figures on a monthly basis.
  • Managing toolbox talk processes.
  • Arranging and booking training courses from our approved training providers.
  • Ensuring non-conformance reports are closed out in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure the recording, reporting and investigation of all incidents, accidents and near misses and conduct root cause analysis where required.
  • Carrying out trending and analysis reporting
  • Maintaining and assisting with the development of our QHSE Management system.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of company standards ISO9001, ISO14001, RISQS, EN1090.
  • Assisting where necessary during external / accreditation audits.
