We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a landmark Energy Infrastructure build in Peterhead. If you’re passionate about infrastructure and ready to grow your career on one of the UK’s most important sustainable energy projects — we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing

You’ll support senior members of the commercial team across a wide range of duties, including:

• Measuring, recording, and valuing work in line with industry standards.
• Assisting with procurement, subcontractor engagement, and cost planning.
• Preparing cost/value reconciliations and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Using our ERP systems to manage key project financial data.
• Working closely with engineering and delivery teams to meet programme targets.

Who we’re looking for

We’re after someone with:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc or MSc) or equivalent experience.
• A strong understanding of civil engineering or energy infrastructure projects - (Desirable)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ambition to become professionally chartered (RICS, ICES, or CIOB).
• A commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
• Driving License is essential to the location of the site
