JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading team in the demolition and construction industry. This role is perfect for someone early in their commercial career, supporting projects from award through to final account. You’ll be working closely with the senior commercial team while gaining experience in project coordination and commercial control.

• Assist in reviewing contract terms and commercial documents
• Support in preparing valuations, cost reports, and final accounts
• Attend pre- and post-contract meetings
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors to manage instructions and variations
• Assist with subcontract procurement and payment processes
• Help prepare tender packages and manage site documentation
• Coordinate with site teams to support compliance and site readiness
• Monitor cost reconciliation and assist with budget tracking
• Contribute to updating project programmes and schedules
• Provide support for health and safety and statutory compliance documentation
