We are now seeking a proactive and detail-focused Assistant Regional Claims Manager to join our Southeast team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and leadership skills who can support the Regional Claims Manager while overseeing site teams, claims processes, and client communications.

As Assistant Regional Claims Manager, you will:

  • Review, approve, and issue survey reports, remedial designs, estimates, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage subcontractor and agency resources, including scheduling works, authorising purchase orders, and approving invoices.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, insurers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide line management for site teams, including training, timesheet approval, performance reviews, and HR support.
  • Assist with site health and safety inspections as required.
  • Lead weekly site team meetings to monitor job progress, resolve job related issues, and plan resources effectively.
  • Support the Regional Claims Manager on high-value projects, technical challenges, and cases involving third party insurers, regulators, or third-party contractors.

    The successful candidate will bring:

  • Experience in claims or project management, ideally within environmental response, construction, or insurance-related sectors.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to confidently review technical documentation and cost estimates.
  • Strong leadership qualities with proven experience managing teams.
  • Clear and professional communication skills across all levels, from clients and insurers to site teams.
