Job Description What is the opportunity? As the member of Client Support Desk, Wealth Management Asia, you will report to the Heads of Sales Management Asia and support the entire RBC Wealth Management Asia. You would be key to the growth strategy of RBC WMA, be part of training and developing new relationship manager and onboarding of new clients. What will you do? Independently handle new account openings, account maintenance, asset transfers, loans, payments, order taking, and product recommendations. Develop and mentor the onboarding of new relationship manager. Provide assistance and guidance for new client / RM’s queries and interest on RBC WMA’s offering and product capabilities. Ensure timely and accurate execution of client requests and transactions. Independently manage both client accounts and relationships (including product and services queries, pricing and execution). Be familiar and adhere to Bank’s code of conduct, KYC, due diligence, AML and cross border regulation and compliance to policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements Works collaboratively and endeavours to build good working relationships with other key stakeholders. Partner with Sales Management Office and follow the WMA growth strategy and initiatives. Participates in projects which drives the positives changes over WMA platforms and client experiences. What do you need to succeed? Must-have University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or other relevant professional finance qualifications CACS Paper 1 and 2 At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in private banking/wealth management platform, preferably in roles of ARM/Client due diligences. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are essential. Highly articulate in both written and verbal business communication. Solid investment products knowledge and sound understanding of relevant external regulations governing the business Knowledgeable and experienced across KYC/AML/Compliance. Self-motivated individual with a positive change mindset. Comfortable with direct communication both internally (with functional partners) and externally (with prospects or clients) Advanced Bloomberg & Reuters Fluency in English language skills is essential Nice-to-have Avaloq system knowledge is preferred This role requires speaking to clients from North Asia and South East Asia, proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa or Thai is nice-to-have.
