Assistant Relationship Manager – Regional Wholesale Bank
A regional wholesale bank is currently seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager. You will be given a great opportunity in providing comprehensive support to the Corporate Banking Department in managing corporate client accounts, while assisting Relationship Managers (RMs) with their duties. In return, you will enjoy an attractive annual renumeration of up to SGD $90,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position involves providing comprehensive support to the Corporate Banking Department in managing corporate client accounts, while assisting Relationship Managers (RMs) with their duties.
  • Assist RMs with daily client servicing tasks and resolve customer issues promptly, which includes:
  • Collecting necessary documentation and completing the customer onboarding process, including KYC and AML checks;
  • Conducting annual or semi-annual credit reviews for clients;
  • Performing market research and credit assessments for potential clients;
  • Preparing financial spreads for credit documentation;
  • Translating credit-related documents as needed.
  • Help the Head of Department (HOD) monitor business performance by RM, client, and product.
  • Contribute to the department’s system implementation, including gathering user requirements and performing user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in market, industry, and customer analysis to enhance understanding of related trends.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as required by the department.

Requirement:

  • A degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the banking industry
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in change management, system testing, implementation, and project management is a plus.
  • Quick to learn, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a support role.
