JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Research Coordinator (ARC) supports the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and Director in carrying out clinical research activities. The ARC performs administrative support duties related to the collection of clinical data and/or the coordination of clinical studies. Work under supervision of the principal investigator and/or study coordinator/supervisor. This role is entry-level and designed to build skills in clinical research coordination while contributing to the overall success of the study team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in science or health-related field
  • 1 year experience in clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or clinical research support

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Required to use hands/fingers to type and handle materials
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
