Description

The Research Assistant Psychologist will work as part of a small clinical research and data analysis team, to establish a clinical evaluation project around the Long Term Conditions Pathway, within Norfolk & Waveney Talking Therapies.
There will be a particular focus on stroke initially, though this may develop further, into related areas of practise. The project brings together both physical and mental healthcare providers, and the University of East Anglia.
This is a new position and project. Therefore, the post-holder will be required to work effectively with the projects leads and clinical practitioners, to ensure that appropriate data architecture and collection methodology is integrated into clinical delivery at the outset. In addition to ensuring that high quality data is collected, the person will be responsible for its day to day management, analysis and reporting as directed by the project leads. Therefore, proficiency in relevant data management and analysis systems is essential.
The post-holder will work with the Talking Therapies, Director of Psychology and the clinical psychology research lead at UEA, to provide technical, practical and clinical assistance for relevant research and evaluation projects.
The post holder will be based within NSFT’s, NHS Talking Therapies, Data & Performance team, and will be responsible, under supervision, for the data collection, monitoring and analysis of the clinical delivery requirements associated with the project, to ensure optimum delivery. The successful candidate will ensure that all research procedures are conducted according to agreed study protocols.
Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other.
