Lead the Way: Assistant Residence Manager (IDD) Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and a desire to lead? The Arc of Westchester is seeking dedicated and experienced Assistant Residence Managers to join our team. In this leadership role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of our residents. You'll provide direct oversight to direct care staff and collaborate with supervisors to manage all aspects of our residential programs in a group home setting. What You'll Do: * Supervise direct care staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. * Ensure residents' physical, social, emotional, communication, safety, and independent living needs are met. * Implement and enforce all policies and regulations within the residence. * Advocate for residents and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals. * Maintain accurate documentation and records. What We're Looking For: * High School Diploma, Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field is preferred. * A valid NYS driver's license. * Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a residential setting providing services for individuals with IDD. * Strong leadership and supervisory skills. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
