Description
Assistant residents are also responsible for engine component and system launches in the plant. Quality: 1. Participate in Variability Reduction Team with Manufacturing to address low time in service (LTIS) quality issues past product launch. Implement PRAs as appropriate. Support safety and regulatory reviews as necessary. Develop and execute PV plan in conjunction with Plant Launch and Quality Managers Manage Launch specific alerts and assist in launch issue resolution Support Concern process, ensuring changes are feasible, include plant costs, and have plant concurrence Support engine plant Manage the Change process, conduct trials as necessary 1. Review and sign annual ES records, Repair Procedures, and DCP 2. Coordinate IP and Conformity of Production engine testing Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related degree 2+ years of experience in Engine Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing or Systems Engineering Automotive manufacturing experience Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with solid understanding of problem-solving methodologies Excellent leadership and presentation skills. Proficient in English, verbal and written
