The recently redeveloped RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort sits on the pristine shores of Coral Bay, a gateway to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park. With 90 modern units, a resort-style pool, ocean-view dining, a contemporary clubhouse, and sustainable features like solar power and EV charging, it offers an unforgettable coastal experience. Ahead of our grand reopening in Q1 2027, we’re seeking a motivated and experienced full-time Assistant Resort Manager to support the Resort Manager in leading the opening and day-to-day operations of this exciting new property. What will you be doing? As Assistant Resort Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving operational performance, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring every guest enjoys a world-class stay. This role offers the perfect blend of leadership, lifestyle, and the opportunity to make a real impact in one of Australia’s most spectacular coastal locations. Your day-to-day impact Assist the Resort Manager to deliver strategic management, financial performance, and operational excellence across the resort. Support and guide department managers to achieve strong performance and accountability. Ensure exceptional guest service standards are delivered consistently, including handling escalated feedback and complaints. Lead recruitment, development, and performance management of team members. Manage labour costs, budgets, procurement, and cost control in line with occupancy levels. Monitor revenue and implement strategies to maximise discretionary spend. Drive compliance, risk management, and a safety-first culture across the resort. Represent RAC Parks & Resorts at community events and liaise with local stakeholders. What you’ll bring to the team Proven experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role within hospitality, tourism, or a related industry. Strong people leadership skills with the ability to develop engaged, high-performing teams. Solid financial management experience, including budgets and reporting. Ability to identify and embed process and system improvements. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Relevant qualifications in Management or Hospitality (desirable). Current Driver’s Licence, Police Clearance, Approved Manager Licence, and Senior First Aid Certificate. Flexibility to live and work in Coral Bay, with availability across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.
