Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our F&B team. Working alongside the Restaurant Manager & F&B Manager , this is a fast-paced hands on role where you will be responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery within 2 AA Rosette 1907 restaurant bar and grill, maximising selling opportunities and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of team management, service delivery and a natural flair for customer service.
Salary £26,000 plus generous service charge up to £5k per year plus tips

· Experience in restaurants service management
· Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team
· Confidence and diplomacy to liaise with other departments to ensure effective team work that results in an exceptional experience
· Good communication skills to find out exactly what clients/guests want
· Personal charm to greet guests and ensure a memorable experience
· Excellent organisational and exceptional attention to detail

The fabulous Brooklands Hotel has been opened since 2010 and is a modern sleek style Art Deco inspired building with bedrooms and conference suites offering state of the art facilities located on the site of the historic Brooklands race track. The 2 AA Rosette 1907 restaurant bar and grill and bar are contemporary with the highest quality throughout delivering a great experience for our guests. The hotel offers a luxurious spa and is the upper end of the four star category and appeals to both the local corporate and leisure guests. Responsibilities
  • Supervise Restaurant planning with overall responsibility for service delivery
  • Be able to present our cook at the table options and provide a theatrical dining experience
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained for our products range and ensure these are presented correctly and effectively.
  • Ensure all new staff are fully inducted into the team, familiar with the menu and wine offering .
  • Collaborate with other departments and operational staff to ensure all areas are ready for guests
  • Manage client expectations, dealing with and resolving all queries promptly and efficiently
  • Hands on role leading by example
