POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily food and beverage operations. This role ensures excellent customer service, smooth staff performance, and adherence to quality, hygiene, and safety standards. The Assistant Manager helps drive sales, control costs, and maintain a positive dining experience for all guests.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role in F&B.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic MS Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of restaurant supervisory or assistant management experience.
• Food safety certification is an advantage.

FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

• Assist in monitoring sales, labor, and cost of goods to achieve budget targets.
• Support inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
• Prepare operational reports as requested by the Restaurant Manager.
