Michelin green-starred restaurant Apricity was opened by Chantelle Nicholson to embody her commitment to sustainability and conscious dining. The team works to create a dining experience that aligns with conscious cooking, and joyful dining.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be part of the senior team working closely with Chantelle, the Restaurant Manager, Head Chef and our Group Operations Director. We are looking for someone who has a passion for hospitality, people, sustainability, food and providing an excellent experience for our guests.
You’ll be the go-to person on the floor, making sure our team feels supported, confident, and inspired to deliver the best possible service. From helping with training and development to keeping our service standards consistently high, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm and memorable experience for every guest. You’ll also take pride in ensuring the restaurant always looks its best – polished, welcoming, and ready to impress.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Leading by example to support and empower the Front of House team
  • Fostering and promoting our work culture to enable a positive work environment
  • Taking a proactive approach to create a warm and welcoming space for our guests, and ensuring a seamless service
  • Having a working knowledge of our sustainability practices, suppliers, produce, food and beverage menu
  • Assisting the Restaurant Manager with daily briefings and on going training sessions to engage and communicate across the teams
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with the day to day running of the front of house team, including rotas, linen hire, stock ordering, cleanliness, maintenance, and opening and closing procedures
  • Work closely with the Guest Relations, Events, and Marketing Manager to assist with events and private dining operations
  • Encourage the team to practice a sustainable way of working by thinking of creative ways to reduce waste, our carbon footprint, and ensuring the correct waste management processes are followed.
