We currently have the opportunity for a customer service orientated professional to join our friendly & service focused Food & Beverage team on a full-time basis in the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager in our Catalina Restaurant. Our next Assistant Restaurant Manager will be someone that is born for the Hospitality Industry, who will go above and beyond to ensure our reputation for outstanding service is upheld。

ABOUT US:

The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, IRD`s and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the DFO Airport precinct, it is the first accommodation, meeting, and event space to be developed in this precinct. Novotel Brisbane Airport features 157 modern luxurious guest rooms, a la carte dining restaurant, 6 event spaces, pool & gymnasium.

Responsibilities
  • Regulate performance and development goals for team members by mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance overall team performance.
  • Supervise, implement and drive any staffing related actions in accordance with company rules and policies for the Food & Beverage Department with support from senior management.
  • Direct day-to-day shift requirements, plan and assign work, and establish operation expectations in line with given targets, and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs within the operation.
  • Ensure FOH team members are appropriately trained in quality and service standards and has the tools and equipment to carry out required duties.
  • Promote teamwork and service standards through daily communication, briefings and coordination with other departments.
  • Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet, or exceed, guest expectations within the Food & Beverage Operation.
  • Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other Department Heads to ensure that all the facilities and equipment are cleaned and maintained as required, and service periods run smoothly.
  • Establish and adhere to effective stock management processes and cost control procedures.
