    Job Description: The Delamar with multi-locations is looking for a hospitality-driven assistant restaurant manager with excellent leadership skills. Focusing on continuous staff training; food, beverage, steps of service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-oriented candidate. Wine enthusiasts are always preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of food and wine is a must as well as fine dining operations.

  • Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over the weekend, and holidays.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to train and motive staff.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:

  • Drive high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of all brand standards, visible operational leadership, active trend analysis and hands-on interaction with guests and associates.
  • Assist F&B management in the overall day-to-day operations in all outlets
  • Consistently maintain Delamar service standards throughout all F&B departments.
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure clear and concise communication on all reports, functions and guest notes for the day.
  • Ensure completion of all service shift opening/closing duties.
  • Ensure setup of all dining outlets, common spaces and function spaces for the day.
  • Inspect the restaurant environment and entrance area ensuring that all standards are met, rectify any deficiencies and maintain cleanliness at all times.
  • Inspect tables and stations ensuring that all set up meets the departmental standards, check throughout meal period and report any deficiencies.
  • Ensure quality Food & Beverage service is delivered first while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead costs.
  • Conduct pre-meal informational briefing with staff so that all are knowledgeable about dishes, cooking methods, changes, menu items, specials, etc.
  • Behave as a role model, communicate effectively with employees, acting as a motivating influence, training all new team members.
  • Supervise the proper training of new colleagues.
  • Maintain department organization and cleanliness
  • Supervise the alcoholic/non-alcoholic service in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
  • Handle any guest incidents ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. Record and distribute all GIR reports following up on any incidents.
  • Accurately take, record, and confirm restaurant reservations/cancellations.
  • Assist management in weekly inventories and reconciliations.
  • Ordering of beverages and restaurant supplies.
  • Ensure respect of safe food handling procedures and a safe working environment
  • Complete Daily Pass-along communicating all relevant notes for each shift.
  • Have a strong understanding of all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
