About the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager The Restaurant Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service. This role involves supervising staff, assisting in administrative tasks, maintaining high-quality standards in food and service, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. The Assistant Manager acts as a leader on the floor and a key point of contact when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable. What you will do: Assist with day-to-day operations including opening/closing procedures. Monitor performance, provide guidance, and help motivate team members. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly. Assist in monitoring daily sales, labor costs, and other KPIs. Help with stock control, inventory checks, and ordering supplies. Follow cash handling and reconciliation procedures. Maintain staff schedules in coordination with the Restaurant Manager.
