As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be highly visible on the floor, leading from the front and helping create a confident, polished and energetic service culture.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership across key areas of the operation, including:

  • Leading and motivating the front-of-house team through busy services
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager with operational planning and venue performance
  • Coaching, training and developing team members to reach their potential
  • Creating memorable and genuinely warm guest experiences

  • Monitoring standards across presentation, cleanliness, safety and compliance
  • Assisting with budgets, KPIs, reporting and daily financial procedures
  • Working collaboratively with both the FOH & BOH teams to execute exceptional service
  • Coordinating and delivering group bookings, private functions and special events
  • Ensuring events and services are executed seamlessly and to Cibaria standards
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, communication and the overall guest journey

About You

You’re a confident hospitality leader who enjoys being on the floor, understands what exceptional service looks like and knows how to bring the best out of a team.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an Assistant Manager or senior FOH leadership position
  • Strong restaurant operations experience, ideally within a high-volume or premium venue
  • NSW RSA
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Experience with SevenRooms or other similar online reservation systems
  • Sound knowledge around Italian food & beverages
