Responsibilities
Ensure to maintain a personal attitude of a high standard and quality, which produce efficiency, and productivity of the restaurant department.
To be in total control of service, knowing the allocation of staff on duty, always using correct table number and position numbers. To ensure that the station is never left unsupervised by the supervisor. To communicate with other Supervisors and Manager when leaving the floor.
To work with your Manager regarding employee development in order to promote a climate of enthusiasm and encouragement. Maintain staff efficiency and morale in the restaurant at the highest level.
To assist the Restaurant in handling administrative duties (ie: holidays, rotas) in compliance with company policies and procedures.
. To participate in head of department employee meetings to discuss and solve challenges as well as to establish strategies for improvement and development.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful Assistant Restaurant Manager candidate, you must have previous management experience working in a food & beverage environment, ideally in a high-end, luxury establishment. You will be guest focused, an excellent communicator and possess high levels of attention to detail.
