The Hotel Folk have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their friendly team based at the award-winning Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa.
A successful candidate will have a strong background in a food and beverage environment, with at least two years’ previous experience in a similar establishment, to help drive our food and beverage offering and be able to support the Restaurant Manager in delivering a ‘blow your socks-off’ hospitality experience.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support in managing our two restaurants - The Gallery and The Brasserie, along with the lounge area and garden which are both perfect settings for an English afternoon tea.

KEY DUTIES OF AN ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER INCLUDE:

• To assist the restaurant manager in the running of food and beverage services. To manage, motivate and support the team, optimising all opportunities to increase food and liquor sales and profit
• Encourage team members to increase sales by ensuring that they know how to add on sales and that they have up-to-date product knowledge
• Ensure that guest and customer requests are always responded to courteously and efficiently.
• Monitor and evaluate complaints and take preventive/corrective action or make recommendations to improve the situation.
