FULL-TIME | STARTING FROM $80,000 + SUPER (NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE)

We are THEECA Darlinghurst, one of Sydney’s most vibrant and dynamic venues. By day, we’re a bustling brunch café, and by night, a chic wine bar. We’re currently seeking an Assistant Manager to lead our dinner services and collaborate closely with our Event Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid RSA certification.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Solid bar experience, with expertise in preparing classic cocktails and the ability to train bartenders effectively.
  • A genuine passion for the hospitality industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of local and European wines.
  • Experience in function event planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1 year of management experience (required).
  • Work authorisation in Australia (preferred).
  • This is an on-site role based in Darlinghurst.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Coordinate daily operations and private function events alongside the Event Coordinator.
  • Handle rostering and ensure shifts run smoothly.
  • Lead staff training to maintain high service standards, including bar and cocktail training for bartenders.
  • Prepare detailed service reports for management.
  • Oversee stocktaking and ordering to meet venue needs.
