Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay is set on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with views of both the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse.
We’re a professional but fun, positive and social crew, working with food and beverage we’re genuinely proud of. Team work, enthusiasm and inclusivity are all key factors in our ethos.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our respected and established restaurant group. Responsible for playing a key role in the overall success of the venue by ensuring each guest has a positive and unforgettable experience with us at The Ducks. We are looking for hospitality professionals who have the ability to work alongside their team and strengthen what has already been instilled. We are seeking Managers who enjoy training and developing the staff underneath them and have a sharp eye for detail and thorough understanding of budgets as well as the knowledge and drive to exceed them.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven work experience in a high volume setting as a Supervisor or Manager of a restaurant
  • Extensive Food & Beverage knowledge & Passion for the industry
  • Great customer service skills and the temperament to match
  • Ability to work with, mentor and develop a large team
  • Wine & Cocktail knowledge a bonus
  • Comfortable setting priorities and setting tasks as required
  • Strong communication skills, a magnetic personality and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving, organisational skills, and attention to detail to both customers & employees
  • Excellent verbal & written English skills
  • Proficient computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office is strongly desired.
  • Solid financial acumen and the desire to exceed expectations
  • A genuine desire to to work as a team to show all our guests a great experience with us
