Duties

• Support & manage all aspects of the restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead from the front supporting the RM / GM, with a culture of respect and integrity; someone who knows how to build teams and grow talent.
• Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices to maintain high standards of service.
• You must have an element of understanding P&Ls, KPIs and how to drive, support results.
• Assist in overseeing food production processes while ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and best practices.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with Co-Developing and co-implementing training programs for team members to enhance their skills in hospitality and culinary services alongside the RM / GM.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience in a fast paced supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential. Japanese or similar cuisine would be a bonus.
• Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
• Previous supervisory experience is required, demonstrating effective team management skills.
• Experience in staff training with an excellent ability to teach, monitoring progress
• Familiarity working with both alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Have the ability to be self disciplined, take full ownership and be accountable for the business as if it were your own in the absence of the RM / GM.
• Highly people focused both guests and colleagues with a terrific people culture
