Responsibilities Plan and coordinate frequent health checks and safety inspections at worksites, with interactive communication and discussion with frontline staff Consolidate improvement actions for regular review to enhance safety performance Provide support and organise on-site safety communication sessions to reinforce the Corporate’s Safety First culture Assist in investigating occupational accident / incidents, provide reports and advise on prevention of recurrence and analyse accident trends, compile occupational accident statistics and produce reports Assist in planning, arranging, and organizing safety promotion activities and training within the department to enhance safety awareness and interest of site staff Requirements Diploma in Engineering / Safety Management or related discipline A minimum of 6 years’ experience in major Civil / Permanent Way / Power Distribution / E&M works, of which 1 year should be in safety field Knowledge of safety management is essential Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Remarks Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered Applications You are invited to apply online via http://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
