Description ASSISTANT SALES DEPT INTERN POSITION TITLE: SALES INTERN PART TIME DEPARTMENT: SALES REPORTS TO: WHOLESALE MANAGER FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT PURPOSE: To assist the Wholesale Manager with inventory control and other duties. CORE DUTIES: Follow instructions from your immediate Supervisor assisting with all duties pertaining to the preparation of vehicles prior to photograph for web site Help with bi-monthly inventory OTHER DUTIES: Maintain dealership premises as directed management Work closely with upper management and other department managers to insure that their needs are met and the lines of communication remain open. Sustain the dealership’s standard for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations. Bi-monthly inventory of all vehicles in dealerships’ possession Special projects as assigned by upper management Any other duties necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, productivity, efficiency, safety and cleanliness possible in the dealership Serve on the safety committee as needed PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to assist in snow removal on sales lot and vehicle Ability to lift 20 lbs Must have a tolerance to normal shop noise(i.e. tools, equipt, cars etc) QUALIFICATIONS: Must be willing to work on Saturday. Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity. Must wear company supplied uniforms if requested to do so Must be willing and able to work flexible hours.
Responsibilities
Assist the Wholesale Manager with inventory control and the preparation of vehicles for website photography. Maintain dealership premises and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
