Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Assistant Sales Manager. The right candidate will support the Sales Manager in driving sales performance, customer experience, and operational excellence across the division. This role assists with coaching and developing sales teams, executing sales strategies, and ensuring consistent adherence to company policies, processes, and brand standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Support the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies to achieve sales goals Assist with coaching, mentoring, and developing Sales Representatives to improve performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement Meet or exceed individual sales goals Assist with scheduling, coverage, and workflow coordination of sales offices Help monitor sales activity, traffic, conversion ratios, and contract performance, escalating trends or issues as needed Reinforce consistent use of sales processes, CRM, and documentation standards Assist with onboarding and training new sales team members on systems, processes, and selling best practices Support the execution of marketing initiatives, promotions, and model home presentation standards Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns, assisting with resolution in coordination with sales, construction, and customer service teams Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements Assist with preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises 2 or more employees Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field preferred Two to four years of experience in new home sales, real estate sales, or a related sales environment Proficiency with CRM systems Proven ability to coach, motivate, and support sales professionals Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to analyze sales data and identify performance trends High level of organization and attention to detail Strong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essential Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision The noise level is generally moderate Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a leadership, mentoring, or senior sales role preferred Strong understanding of the homebuilding sales process, from prospecting through contract and closing Come join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
