Job Description We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our Jakarta Sales Office team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the hotel’s business growth by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in line with our brand standards. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships. Conduct engaging hotel presentations to highlight the property’s products, services, and unique offerings. Negotiate contracts and close deals to optimize profitability while maintaining brand standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipelines, and forecasts to the Director of Sales (Jakarta Sales Office). Stay informed on industry developments and maintain in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to achieving sales goals Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Team player with a collaborative mindset Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs Professional appearance and demeanor Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
