  • 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Sales Manager.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence a sales team.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle inventory, pricing, and finance options.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and dealership software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).

Assistant Sales Manager
Qualifications
As the Assistant Sales Manager ASM, you will play a critical role in day-to-day sales operations—coaching sales consultants, managing the showroom floor, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional buying experience. You’ll act as the bridge between upper management and the sales team to ensure performance goals and customer satisfaction standards are consistently met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and support the sales team on the showroom floor.
  • Coach sales consultants to improve performance and close deals effectively.
  • Drive the customer experience by ensuring professionalism, engagement, and satisfaction at every step.
  • Assist with deal structuring, customer negotiations, and conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and ensure goals are being tracked and met.
  • Communicate regularly with senior managers on sales team performance and customer feedback.
  • Help onboard, train, and mentor new sales staff.
  • Maintain compliance with dealership procedures and regulatory standards.
