Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Sales Manager in driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will play a key part in managing the sales team, ensuring that they are well-trained and equipped to meet their targets. Your strong organizational skills and customer service orientation will be essential in fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork and success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education is required; a university degree is preferred.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and possess strong accounting and administrative skills.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales (management experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles and financing options is an asset.
  • Valid OMVIC license and a valid driver’s license.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $95,533.00-$100,515.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Support the Sales Manager in day-to-day operations, including sales strategy execution and team development.
  • Monitor program receivables and ensure accuracy in commission deals.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities, including sales documentation, accounting reviews, and compliance with dealership policies.
  • Oversee deal processing, verifying all paperwork is accurate and properly submitted.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to sales representatives to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting departments to track sales performance and ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure a high level of organization in dealership operations and maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
