This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in Graphic Communications or a related field who is interested in building a career in the print and manufacturing industry. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to print production, scheduling, and manufacturing workflows, while working closely with experienced schedulers, production teams, and client service teams to ensure projects move smoothly through our facilities. Responsibilities Order Entry & Production Setup Process order entry requests through the Order Entry Portal Verify sales totals against estimates and confirm order details Assign production dates based on current inline press schedules Distribute job documentation (Firm Order Documents and Estimates) to internal teams Set up jobs in the production scheduling system and create tasks for production teams Coordinate with Accounting on credit approvals when required Production Scheduling Support Assist Inline Schedulers with daily scheduling activities Manage schedules during scheduler absences or urgent situations Monitor production throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed Participate in daily production meetings and scheduling calls Print and distribute daily production schedules to operations teams Communicate with Customer Service and production teams to update job status Help create production schedules for potential new projects and sales opportunities Production Coordination Confirm paper availability and delivery timelines with the shipping and materials teams Track project status and ensure schedules remain accurate and up to date Assist with weekly capacity reporting for production planning meetings Requirements Required Qualifications 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent education/training Degree in Graphic Communications or related preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Career Growth & Learning This position is designed to help you build a strong foundation in print manufacturing and production scheduling. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners. Physical Requirements This is primarily a sedentary role but may require occasional filing, standing, bending, or lifting files and materials as needed.
