Job Posting: Assistant Security Director
Location: Mall – Halton Hills, ON
Reports To: Security Director (on-site)
Pay Rate: $28.33/hr
Status: Full-Time | Shifts: Thursday - Monday 3 PM - 11 PM & Holidays

POSITION SUMMARY:

Securitas is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Security Director to support the leadership of our on-site security team at a large mall in the Halton Hills area. The AS D will play a vital role in upholding safety, managing frontline staff, and delivering world-class customer service in alignment with the client’s Corporate Policy and Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (mandatory)
  • Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C (mandatory)
  • 3–5 years of security experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proficient with incident reporting, access control, and radio communications
  • Experience using computer applications (preferred) such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must pass a vulnerable sector check.
  • Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.Mall Security Experience

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of frontline Security Guards.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in line with client’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP)
  • Conduct investigations, complete incident reports, and follow up with key stakeholders.
  • Consult with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, tenants, and mall management.
  • Maintain compliance with Securitas operating procedures and client mall protocols.
  • Monitor and manage CCTV, access control, alarm, and communications systems.
  • Support scheduling, timekeeping, and employee development.
  • Ensure customer service excellence with a 5-star approach to all patrons.Step in as acting Security Manager when required.
