Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

To support the SENCo’s and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in various aspects of the primary schools administrative obligations and requirements in particular the communication with local authorities and administration of annual reviews of EHCP’s, travel arrangements and administration of intervention and tracking of vulnerable young people.

MAIN DUTIES

A range of support functions including, but not limited to:-

  • To coordinate with Teachers, Local Authorities, EHCP’s, Social Workers and SLT the production of transfer education reviews and EHCP’s.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, take part in, minute and complete all Annual Education Reviews.
  • To ensure all relevant and correct paperwork is completed and distributed to all agencies, Local Authorities and families.
  • To carry out admin to support in pupil admissions – Includes, setting up ITAC meetings, keeping up to date and sending out induction packs, updating class list, setting up new pupil files
  • To maintain pupil files and archiving
  • To handle, organise and facilitate transport
  • Handling telephone enquiries from professional agencies, parents and others.
  • Preparation of reports, letters and assorted internal and external documents.
  • Producing school documents using word processing, excel or other software.
  • Photocopying, filing, collating information etc.
