All about the role: An opportunity has arisen to join our SEND team as an Assistant SENDCo to promote the progress and achievement of SEND students throughout the school. This role will be student-focused and will ensure high standards and expectations for both SEND students and staff. This is a key role which involves working closely with the SENDCo and developing our SEND provision at St Laurence School. The role is suitable for someone who: * Is interested in developing expertise which meets the current needs of the school. * Has the ability to foster positive working relationships with parents, external agencies, staff and students. * Has good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy working environment and a wide variety of tasks. * Can problem-solve effectively and independently. * Understands and is mindful of the impact of decisions on the school, including budgets, students and staff and has in mind a whole-school focus when making decisions.
