Responsibilities
  • Perform and supervise preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life/safety, and other building systems.
  • Shares in responsibilities for tenant interaction and services, inventory, supply purchasing, tracking and control.
  • Respond promptly to tenant service requests and resolve issues related to lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and general building operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and assessments of building systems and equipment as directed by management, or as outlined by preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate and maintain critical systems including chillers, UPS, generators, and building automation systems (BAS).
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities, both electronically and written.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, contractor oversight, and project support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures; identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Create, modify and update preventative maintenance schedules within electronic work order system.
  • Aid and advise in building maintenance protocols and provide feedback as to the effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation.
  • Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Aid in guidance and training of entry and lower-level engineer team members.
  • All assigned duties and properties.
