In this role, you will: Safeguards the Bank and clients from possible loss Ensures smooth and efficient operations of settlement team Oversees accuracy and efficiency in handling the QFII Clearing Bank Business, index futures/FMDB and CIBM operations Solve client issues and maintain client goodwill Ensures efficient and error-free settlement of the team Ensures safe custody of all securities under the custody of Securities Services Improves standard of service and operations efficiency Maintains HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring. Qualifications To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: Good command in English. Have prior working experience in the custodian bank or securities industry, and be familiar with the QFII, RQFII, CIBM business and and have broad knowledge of settlement process of A/B share and interbank bond markets. Able to work independently without much guideline/precedent. Be competent professionally to bring best practice ideas to the team. Strong capacity to manage client interests and be customer focus.
