Promote, ensure and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, and Enwave HSE policies, programs and procedures. Qualifications or Skills Required: Hold a 2nd Class Operating Engineer Certificate or be in a position to obtain a 2nd class OE certificate within 4 months of accepting this position. Have strong technical skills and be able to work safely alone or in a team environment. Process the skills and confidence to successfully perform the duties of the shift engineer as required. Must be capable of performing basic maintenance tasks as required. Be able to perform W@H and Confined Space tasks. This position involves rotating shifts. Hold a valid Ontario driver’s license This position is available immediately and probation will start once the candidate starts to work This position will have direct contact with service contractors, suppliers, inspectors (insurance and government) and customers Attendance, punctuality, appearance, and positive behavior required to foster positive relations with contractors, clients, staff, etc., that is in line with a leadership position. Compensation: $ 45.40-$46.90 CAD per hour. We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based tools to support certain stages of our recruitment process, such as screening or assessing applications.
