OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk and Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of goods out of our manufacturing plant to our clients and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, packaging, label creation, box creation, assembly, picking orders, customs and brokerage documents and software. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all shipments are processed in a timely manner as set out by the operations manager. This job is flows fast, and requires the ability to lift, bend, and twist heavy materials throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

• G License with a clean drivers abstract is required
• your own cellphone with data access and use of GPS like google maps
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping and manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with spire, FedEx, NetParcel similar software is an advantage.
• Proficient in basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
• Ability to operate industrial shrink wrap machine, air line staple gun, banding machine, pump cart.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• excellent communication skills and proficient use of the English language
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

• Manage the shipping process, including picking, wrapping, boxing and printing of all documents like packing slips, bill of lading and product labels.
• Utilize Spire, our in house software to manage order fulfillment.
• Operate industrial shrink wrap machine, banding machine, industrial staple gun, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate a 16’ Mercedes Sprinter two days per week for deliveries throughout the GTA navigating major highways and roads safely.

• Perform packaging tasks to prepare products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.

• Conduct order picking activities accurately to fulfill customer orders promptly.
