The Assistant Shipping Manager supports daily shipping operations by overseeing order processing, documentation, and shipment execution. This role ensures accurate, on-time, and compliant shipments while coordinating closely with clerks, processors, warehouse teams, and transportation partners in a high-volume environment. *NOTE: This role is focused on order execution, compliance, and team coordination, supporting shipment accuracy rather than physical material handling. Key Responsibilities Support and oversee daily shipping operations and workflow Lead and assist clerks and processors to ensure accuracy and efficiency Ensure all shipping documents (Packing Slips, BOLs, ASNs) are completed correctly Maintain compliance with customer routing and shipping requirements Coordinate with carriers to support on-time pickups Troubleshoot and resolve shipment or documentation issues in real time Overseeing accurate, compliant, and on-time shipments Quick and effective issue resolution Qualifications Experience in shipping, logistics, or order processing Strong understanding of shipping documentation and compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Strong team coordination and workflow management Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Company Details: Location: 1700 Fostoria Ave, Findlay, OH 45840 This position will report to the Shipping Manager Kreate is an equal opportunity employer.
