Cornish Bakehouse sells authentic Cornish Pasties which are handmade in Cornwall and baked fresh in our shops. Freshly made coffee, sandwiches, baguettes, pizzas, paninis and other hot drinks also add to our overall take-away food offering.
As part of our exciting growth strategy, we are looking for an Assistant Shop Manager for our shop in the town centre in Tenby.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to help manage our Tenby shop, who is passionate about food quality, hardworking and keen to succeed in a growing company.

Are you able to:-

  • Manage our premises and lead from the front
  • Demonstrate previous management experience
  • Provide exceptional service to our customers
  • Be motivational to our staff
  • Prepare, bake and sell our products
  • Adhere to health & safety and food hygiene regulations
  • Be competent in the cashing up procedure
  • Assist in shop clean down during and at the end of the day
  • Handle deliveries in accordance with company policy and health & safety standards
  • Available to work during the week, and at weekends on a rota basis

Qualifications

  • Experience of managing a team in a retail setting
  • Good communication skills
  • Barista trained
  • Strong problem solving skills and organisational abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and demonstrate strong time management skills

Previous experience of working in food retailing, catering or other retailing environment is essential.
