We are looking for an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to support our Shop Manager at our new Wesbourne shop.
: Sound retail experience and knowledge (charity experience not essential), excellent people management skills and awareness of Health & Safety compliance are essential. The ability to plan, organise and communicate effectively, apply sound judgement and be able to work under pressure are the key skills requirements of the role.
: Working in conjunction with the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing volunteers and stock, ensuring a productive and well-presented shop is maintained, to maximise sales and profits. You will need to be able to work unsupervised in a methodical and organised manner and be flexible to the needs of the charity, covering holiday and sickness absences.
Flexibility, full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes are essential.
The contracted hours for this position are 18 hours per week over 3 days covering shop opening hours (Monday – Sunday).
