About the role
We are looking to hire a highly driven Assistant Sign Installer to join our team at our Digital Print Facility in Glasgow.
Hours
Full time: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
About the role
We’re looking for an Assistant Installer to join our talented in-house Installation team within our Marketing department at Arnold Clark based at our Facility on South Street in Glasgow.
With an over 100-strong Marketing team, we keep it all in-house. We have the latest state of the art printing and finishing equipment, you’ll get the chance to work on a variety of installation projects with employees across the business, installing a mixture of graphics and signage, both internally and externally.
If you’ve worked in a hands-on role and have experience of working to tight deadlines, you’ll already have some of the traits we are looking for. Full training will be provided on our internal systems and processes. You should also be happy working both individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Will be a time served apprentice within a skilled trade or have a minimum 2 years’ experience working as a signage installer/joiner or come with other relevant skills and experience from a hands on trade
You’re a natural team player. We’re a big team and are always looking to help and support each other - and have a laugh along the way.
The ability to work on your own initiative as well as having the right attitude to work closely with the wider team on multiple projects to assist with any business requirements
You have good organisational skills and take pride in your attention to detail and recognise the importance of this in everything you do.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively
You don’t want to stand still with a desire to continually learn, improve and develop your skills
The ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and work to tight deadlines
You’ll bring a can-do attitude to work and don’t mind a challenge or two
Driving licence preferable
