JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Engineer to support the delivery of luxury and complex construction projects. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to gain hands-on site experience, working closely with our senior engineers, site managers, and project teams.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Previous placement, internship, or early experience on construction sites is an advantage.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Understanding of site setting out, surveying, and construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Total Station, or similar equipment).
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety standards and quality control practices.

Responsibilities
  • Support the setting out and surveying of works on site to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Assist with quality control inspections, ensuring works meet design and safety standards.
  • Monitor and record site progress, preparing daily reports and liaising with the project team.
  • Assist with coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld at all times.
  • Provide technical support to the site team, interpreting drawings, and reporting discrepancies or issues to senior staff.
  • Contribute to site meetings, recording minutes and following up on action items
