Program Description: DDI Vantage empowers vulnerable children and families to reach their full potential. Serving the community since 1971, this non-profit organization offers Early Intervention, Early Head Start Home-based services and Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships. Position Description: The full-time (40-hour/week) Assistant Site Facilitator helps the Site Facilitator to oversee the day-to-day operation of DDI VANTAGE Early Intervention Program team by orienting, mentoring, modeling, and assisting Early Intervention Program staff in providing direct and indirect services to children and families. Responsibilities: Assists in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team. Assists in monitoring the quality of staff performance by accompanying them as needed on home visits. Monitors and ensures the day-to-day maintenance of the site. Monitors and approves time cards, leave requests and mileage of program staff in the absence of the Site Facilitator. Provides input to the Site Facilitator to complete performance reviews of program staff. Understands Part C rules and regulations and works with the Compliance Coordinator to ensure team compliance. Functions as a service provider and maintains a caseload as assigned including making substitute visits when necessary. Facilitates good communication at the site. Helps Site Facilitator plan, organize, and implement staff in-service training; and assists in periodic staff training. Collaborates with the Site Facilitator to recognize staff for exceptional performance and makes recommendations for performance improvements/corrective actions when necessary. Leads team meetings in the absence of the Site Facilitator. Assists in the orientation and training of new employees as assigned. Assists in child-find activities. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience: The Assistant Site Facilitator must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years experience in early intervention. A state and federal background screen and motor vehicle records check will be conducted on all new hires.
